Chiltern Hundreds Charity Run

On Sunday 19th July 2009 the AJS & Matchless Owners Club (East Berks Section) will be organising its 4th Charity Run. The event will be in support of The Prostate Cancer Charity (registered charity No. 1005541). The Prostate Cancer Charity was chosen due to prostate cancer affecting a number of members in the AJS & Matchless Owners Club, with prostate cancer being responsible for the annual deaths of over 10,000 men in UK every year, mostly within the age group of our membership.
The run is open to all motorcycles (solo and sidecar) and will be of a non-competitive social nature, taking a scenic route on country roads through the Chiltern Hills for a lunch stop, where an all inclusive lunch will be provided. The afternoon run will then take a different route through further scenic countryside back to the start venue. Awards will be presented to class winners of the best turned out machines.
